I have done something I have never done before. I have worked with other peoples footage from across the world, worked with academic information on a topic I knew nothing about and with an extremely low budget while still having to earn. All things that I find very challenging. But I did it and am glad for the failures and lessons learned. I finish stronger and better. I am really starting to change my belief and focus on failure. Not to be afraid of it. But to tackle it and learn and sharpen my focus. To seek out failure as a teacher.
Since then I have stumbled and failed and worked at my craft from all angles. Photography, lighting, Script writing, directing , acting and film production management over the past 5 years.
I have learned and still learning the powerful lesson on FOCUS.
What you focus on grows. What you focus on gets sharper and sharper the more you focus. Focus happens over time, as it refines itself and re adjusts. If you don’t focus and be specific, your not going to hit your target in life, in your dream, in your relationships. Don’t expect focus to happen immediately. I found its a process. We have so many issues we have to work through sometimes to make that focus spot on. But we are on the journey and going after it and that is half the fun.
What words do you have in front of you? What are you focusing on? Take some time and evaluate yourself, otherwise we go around in circles. One has to step back and be objective.
Look friends. To win, to finish strong, those thoughts, those words you tell yourself, the things you focus on MUST BE CHANGED. It is a matter of life or death. We have to get a new mindset, a new attitude, new words we believe in our hearts. Time to get focused and remove excuses and distraction.
